Asian Artists & Concerts,
Inc.(AAC) was founded earlier this year to help young Asian
and Asian-American musicians transition from years of musical
training into professional careers by providing invaluable
performance opportunities. Already, AAC has concluded an
ambitious first spring season including three full orchestra
concerts at the General Assembly of the United Nations, the
Philippine Center’s Kalayaan Hall, and Alice Tully Hall at
Lincoln Center;

and four Solo
and Chamber Music Concerts at
the Sony Club, Ise Gallery, the Nippon Club and the Residence
of Consul General of Japan.
ACC also provides its musicians with the invaluable
experience of learning from distinguished Guest Artists in
master classes and in performance. As an example, Yamada
observes, “For ACC Orchestra members to play along side a
modern master like pianist Walter Hautzig, as they will at our
First Gala Concert in January, is a priceless
opportunity.”
These performances are made possible
through generous support of the Taipei Economic and
Cultural Office in New York.
